Yep, Ray LaHood , don’t you just love that name? It seem so appropriate for someone in the Obama administration. So anyway, LaHood wants to drops the federal gas tax, that’s good … but wants to instate a federal mileage tax, what? See it didn’t take the government long to figure out that if they enforce cafe standards on cars, increase the mileage standard, force more people to drive electric and hybrids you’ll use a lot less gas and in turn pay a lot less taxes, and the government just can’t have that happen …

Well LaHood, who oddly enough is a Arab-American Republican, is pushing this crap-o-la? Frankly, this is discriminatory to people who live in rural areas and do not have access to public transportation and to people that can’t afford to buy a new high gas mileage cars, we’ll pay more in taxes just because we live out of town or can’t afford a new vehicle and this is pure BS … tax at. GPS chip? Oh the hell you will … I’ve got a screwdriver and it’ll come out what are they going to do put me in jail for protecting my privacy? Screw them, I’m not paying it. This is nothing more than an invasion of privacy in my opinion. I will not stand or drive for it, what are that going to tax next, the amount of CO2 your expel?
Looks like the White House has shot this nutty idea down, do you think Obama realizes he’s over reaching.
