As a rule I ignore morons like David Letterman, but making fun of a 14 year old child and implying she be raped in the middle of baseball game in front of 1000’s of onlookers is just to much, as I’m sure you would agree or I hope you agree. So Letterman ragging on Sarah Palin who is a public figure went just to far when he said the her 14 year old daughter whom was with Palin at the Yankees game in New York, he said “during the seventh inning, her daughter was knocked up by Alex Rodriguez.” The daughter that was with Palin in New York was 14 year old Willow Palin and now Letter is back stepping.
Well Letterman slammed by the conservative media and the Palin’s as the Lib media and loony libs never said a word, so Letterman later said…
“We were, as we often do, making jokes about people in the news and we made some jokes about Sarah Palin and her daughter, the 18-year-old girl, who is – her name is Bristol, that’s right, and so, then, now they’re upset with me,” Letterman said. “These are not jokes made about her 14-year-old daughter. I would never, never make jokes about raping or having sex of any description with a 14-year-old girl. I mean, look at my record. It has never happened. I don’t think it’s funny. I would never think it was funny. I wouldn’t put it in a joke…”

Right Dave, Bristol the 18 year old was still in Alaska and the 14 year old Willow was in New York so I ask, is rape funny? Is making a joke about a 18 year old being raped funny and somehow a 14 year old is not? I mean come on Dave if you think raping women is funny, why have standered regarding age! Name one liberals child you’ve ragged on Letterman, name one liberals child you’ve put in a rape joke, name one… hell name one liberal women you’ve called a slut or but in a rape joke, I mean surely if raping a concervative women is funny then raping a liberal women much be funny too. Letterman you’re a slug and you have a weak excuse, a BS excuse and neither are funny, in fact while I use to think Letterman was funny a long time ago nowadays Letterman is nothing more than a bitter old man that needs to fade away. He hasn’t been funny in years and his rating prove it.
In response to Letterman the Palin’s said…In a statement to FOXNews.com, Palin accused Letterman of making “sexually perverted” and “inappropriate” comments that she doubted he would “ever dare make” about anyone else’s daughter.
“Acceptance of inappropriate sexual comments about an underage girl, who could be anyone’s daughter, contributes to the atrociously high rate of sexual exploitation of minors by older men who use and abuse others,” she said.
Palin’s husband, Todd, echoed her sentiments, telling FOXNews.com, “Any ‘jokes’ about raping my 14-year-old are despicable. Alaskans know it, and I believe the rest of the world knows it, too.”
So this brings me to my point show me one example of a conservative comedian, commentator or pundit taking shots at Sasha or Malia Obama or anyones child, show me one, just one…. can’t do it can you? Why not? Well two reasons the first conservatives don’t take shots at people children in the conservative world children are off limits and second we have more class than liberals (but honestly that’s not hard to do). However, I can show you a multitude of liberals taking shots at conservative children. The liberals are nothing more than childish, sophomoric, immature asses and now they are in charge of the country and you see what it’s getting us, makes you proud doesn’t it? Didn’t think so.
Quick thought… where is N.O.W.? Where are any of the womens group demanding Letterman’s head? Where are they? Oh that’s right, they have an agenda and their agenda doesn’t include conservative women or children.

Folks, if you are disgusted with this grotesque "humor" (category: Funny Rapes); one thing you could do is petition the FCC to take action. CBS has a STATUTORY mandate as an FCC licensed broadcaster, to broadcast "in the public interest" Joking trivializing of minor/youth rape is most definitely COMPLETELY CONTRARY to the public interest.

Yes that could be done, BUT do you really believe the Obama controlled FCC is going to do a damn thing? What did they do about all the prime time "teabagging" comments? Nothing, not even a "shame on you" letter. Remember the F in FCC means FAILED.
I'd be more inclined to agree with you if Palin didn't keep dragging her children into every story. However I do take your side in condemning sexism and intolerancein all it's forms. Well done.
