Government Motors new CEO Barack Obama says the taxpayer will back the warranties of the failing automaker, well isn’t that just dandy? So not only is the government in the banking business and the mortgage business and the insurance business and the automakers business it’s also in the business of auto warranties too and we get to pay for it all, great huh?
Obama said Monday his administration has “no intention” of running General Motors, even as the White House demanded the resignation of the automaker’s CEO and called for a “better business plan” before considering lending more government money to bail out the company.
“Let me be clear. The United States government has no interest in running GM. We have no intention of running GM,” Obama said.

So lets see, Obama has no intention of running GM but calls for a “better business plan”, wait the government s calling for a better business plan… is this the same government that has bankrupt the post office, medicaid, medicare, social security and the American tax payer? Obama, this guy that has never been in any type of business in his life, not even a paper route is calling for a better business plan from a company that has been in business over 100 years and has been regulated and cafe standard to death, oh please. What the hell does he or any of the life time politicians in Washington about a business plan? So while the government is not running GM and telling them they need a better business plan they are also firing the current CEO, but since they don’t run the company I guess they are not firing him even though he has to go.
And he is telling Chrysler to come up with a better deal between Chrysler and Fiat, but he’s not running them.
This is bad, very bad you do not want the government this involved in business, any business at all. Once the government get involved in anything it quickly goes down hill and becomes a huge cluster %$&*! It is the road to socialism and while you might not think so, but I assure it is exactly that as the government get more and more involved in every aspect of your life. Nothing good is going to come of this, that much I can guarantee. I hate to say it but won’t take a GM car now if you gave it to me, no way, no how.
Why I wouldn’t be surprised to see them introduce “The NEW People Car” with no A/C (better for the environment and better gas mileage you know), no power steering (it used oil), radio only picks up the Obama Channel and runs entirely on hope and change … I wonder what that car would look like?
